Ratatouille Wins Best Animated Feature Film at 80th Annual Academy Awards Ceremony

Remy and Linguini surprised in Ratatouille.

At this evening's 80th Annual Academy Awards, Pixar's Ratatouille won for best Animated Feature Film. It was also nominated for Original Screenplay, Achievement in Sound Editing, Achievement in Sound Mixing, and Original Score. Congratulations to all the talented artisans at the studio, at Disney, and all the other folks who helped make the "anybody can cook" movie a success!

Also a congratulations goes out to all the winners and nominees including those in the Best Animated Short Film category!

hooray! this is great news about a great film!

too bad it didn't pick up one of it's other nominated awards, although each nomiantion is certainly an honor.

Yeah, I was a bit disapointed, too, that 'Rat' didn't pick up any other awards. But 5 nominations is certainly pretty cool.

Yeah, it should have also won Best Original Score, and it should have been nominated for Best Original Song. Anyway, I'm soooo happy that it won Best Animated Film. Totally deserved.
